American Family Insurance announced today it will be one of the 14 founding partners of Mercedes-Benz Stadium set to open in 2017. The agreement underscores the company’s commitment to the city of Atlanta where it began selling insurance nearly eight years ago.
The agreement begins a 10-year partnership with American Family Insurance, the Atlanta Falcons and Atlanta’s new Major League Soccer team, Atlanta United. Atlanta United begins play in 2017 and will host 17 to 20 matches each season. The club has already amassed more than 26,000 season ticket seat deposits to date.

The partnership agreement will give American Family Insurance a premier presence at Mercedes-Benz Stadium including a branded exterior fan zone that will provide American Family Insurance the opportunity to engage Falcons and Atlanta United fans. The partnership also includes joint promotions, branded radio segments, prominent signage, on-field contests, digital programming and other advertising elements related to the company’s Insurance products.
