Position Description: Analyst, Consulting & Valuation

Reports To: Vice President, Consulting & Valuation

Location: Chicago, IL

Premier Partnerships helps rights-holders optimize their sponsorship revenues through consulting and sales representation.

Position Overview: The primary responsibility of this position is to work on sponsorship valuation and custom consulting projects for professional sports teams, leagues, facilities/venues, municipalities, etc.  The analyst will be responsible for researching and delivering valuable insights utilizing analytics, market research and social/digital analysis to develop a meaningful story.


  • Develop mastery of Premier’s propriety methodology and processes which you will use to build strategies and solutions for our clients

  • Project management of Premier’s consulting and valuation clients, including project analysis, client management and coordination as directed

  • Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding project requirements, interpretation of data, and the development of recommendations based on findings

  • Identify, analyze, and interpret key performance measures and trends in multidimensional data sets 

  • Work closely with your manager and collaborate with team members in data strategies, critical thinking, and problem solving

  • Write reports, proposals and other documents with extraordinary attention to detail, consistency and grammar

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in media planning/buying/sponsorship valuation and methodology

  • Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, Statistics, Economics, Market Research, or related field

  • Analytical thinker who can apply equations to custom projects to derive empirical solutions

  • Possess naturally curious mindset, enthusiasm working with data, strong adaptability, and sense of accountability 

  • Expertise in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel, including use of formula writing, logic statements, pivot tables, index/lookups, and VBA

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to simplify data and complex ideas

  • Knowledge of the US sports and entertainment sponsorship landscape a plus but not essential

  • Other necessary qualifications and characteristics:

    • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

    • Ability to prioritize and manage work flow

    • Excellent project management and administrative skills

    • Self-motivated and self-directed

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
