Aly Montes is a senior sales executive with over 16 years of advertising, media and sponsorship experience. She has worked across digital, social, and traditional media for regional, national and global companies.
Most recently at Hashoff, Montes created social media influencer marketing campaigns for Universal Pictures and Dr Pepper Snapple Group’s 7UP brand. Previously, Montes was responsible for all online digital advertising campaigns for Mexico and Hawaii, in both the travel and non-endemic sectors on Travelocity.com and its global brands. She worked closely with partners to develop, execute, and manage online marketing campaigns that drove conversion, brand awareness, and engagement.
As director of national sales at Emmis Communications, Montes worked with brands such as CVS, T-Mobile, and Remy Martin to craft and implement creative and effective campaigns. Montes spearheaded Pepsi’s title sponsorship of Powerhouse, the signature annual concert event of Power 106, as well as integrated programs supporting numerous Paramount Pictures theatrical releases. In 2011, Montes was a finalist for the Radio Ink National Sales Manager of the Year award.
Prior to her six years at Emmis Communications, Montes was the national sales manager of the CBS flagship station for the Los Angeles Dodgers Radio Network. Over the course of three years, she ushered United Airlines, UPS, JetBlue and BevMo into the Dodgers family.
Montes is professionally proficient in Spanish and has negotiated numerous media and advertising agreements in Mexico on behalf of clients including Mexico Tourism Board, AeroMexico, Grupo Poasdas and Oasis Resorts.
A lifelong resident of Los Angeles, Montes resides in Pacific Palisades with her family. She loves to take advantage of Southern California’s weather by hiking, swimming and running. She is passionate about travel, reading, cooking, and working with various charities including Operation Gratitude and Ocean Park Community Center.
