CORPORATE PARTNERSHIPS INTERN
Title: Corporate Partnerships Intern

Reports To: Coordinator, Marketing Services
- This position will have two primary areas of responsibility, but is expected to have a willingness to play a role in other areas of Premier’s day-to-day business operations, as identified over the course of the internship program:
The first area of responsibility is to work directly with the Marketing Services team in supporting the successful implementation of sponsorship projects for Premier’s current client portfolio. Day-to-day tasks will vary but may include sponsorship analysis, strategic marketing, collateral development, market research, etc.
The second area of responsibility will be to work with the Corporate Partnerships team to support Premier’s sponsorship sales efforts across our portfolio of sales representation projects. Day-to-day tasks may include creating company profiles, prospecting, market research, CRM updating, etc.
This position will have the opportunity to work with some of the industry’s top executives, teams, sponsors and other sports and entertainment organizations and will be expected to have a willingness to play a role in other areas of Premier’s day-to-day business operations, as identified over the course of the internship program.
Premier Partnerships is looking for a candidate who will have achieved standing as a sophomore by the beginning of Fall 2018 semester. The internship will be for the duration of the fall semester and candidates should expect to work approximately 10-15 hours per week, depending on their schedule and availability. All candidates are required to be eligible receive academic credit for the internship.
Successful candidate should have work/educational experience in sponsorship, marketing, or a related field
Strong research and analytical skills combined with a healthy curiosity to want to dig deep
Ability to work well with others in a team environment while managing their own work independently
Exceptional communication skills across writing, speaking and relationship management
Attention to detail and a desire to put out the best possible product for our clients and internal staff
A strong sense of ideation and creativity and willingness to explore our industry
Interest in sports business is a plus, but a desire to build strong collaborative partnerships is a must
Excellent project management and administrative skills and a desire to move projects along in a positive way
Working knowledge of web and/or graphic design is a plus
Basic to intermediate Excel and PowerPoint skills (e.g. working knowledge of importing/exporting, pivot table, formatting, etc.)
Additional experience and familiarity with the use of Microsoft Office across Word and Outlook
