Premier welcomes selected individuals to our Los Angeles, New York, and Chicago offices as part of the Premier Academy. This semester-long program is designed to develop participants into the next generation of sponsorship executives through a combination of round table discussions, lunch & learns, daily tasks, presentations, and assigned mentors.
Max Goldstein is joins Premier’s Los Angeles office for the Spring 2019 Premier Academy program.
Goldstein gained experience in financial services interning at Innovation Advisors, a technology focused M&A firm in New York City. His sports experience revolves around baseball, having spent five years at youth organization New York Empire Baseball, where he coached at after-school programs, weekend clinics, and the 9U travel team, where he focused on developing young pitchers. Later, Goldstein transitioned into the business side of the company, where as a Baseball Operations intern he supported the founder on projects such as implementing a new inventory management system and creating a coach onboarding manual that is still used today.
Goldstein is currently majoring in Business Administration with a minor in Applied Analytics at the University of Southern California, where he is involved in the Sports Business Association, Hillel, and Sigma Alpha Mu, which he currently serves as the treasurer. In his free time, Max enjoys playing basketball, traveling with friends, and eating good food.
Otto Beckers joins Premier’s New York office for the Spring 2019 Premier Academy program.
Beckers gained experience in Sales and Marketing as an intern at the Berlin office of Engel & Völkers, a German provider of services related to luxury real estate, properties, yachts and boats. He also assisted as a management intern at Stor-All-Storage in Boca Raton, Florida.
Currently, Beckers is completing a five-year double bachelor’s program of Sports and Business Management. After studying Sports Management for 3 years at the European University in Barcelona, he is currently completing a Business Management degree at Pace University in New York.
Beckers is an active sports enthusiast who enjoys soccer, tennis, skiing, diving and field hockey. He was captain of the International School of Hamburg soccer team for four years, then competed in a regional Catalan Division during his studies in Barcelona. After winning several regional field hockey championships as a player in Hamburg, Germany, Becker coached youth teams at Der Club an der Alster, reaching the regional championships both years. Off the field, he led a fundraising team and traveled to support social projects in Ghana and Sri Lanka.
