Position Description: Sales Assistant, Corporate Partnerships

Reports To: CEO, and Corporate Partnership Executives

Location: Santa Monica, CA

Position Overview: The primary responsibility of this position is to support the CEO and Premier’s Corporate Partnerships Executives, assisting with the day‐to‐day management of sales administration and various business development and sponsorship sales efforts. The Sales Assistant will have a unique opportunity to work with sports executives and learn first-hand the business of sports and work on some of the most prestigious and high-profile projects in the sports and entertainment industry..

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

  • Property research and support

  • Help maintain CRM database including system updates, contact database development and pipeline reports

  • Assist staff with communication to clients via email, telephone, and scheduling meetings/calls

  • Organize and prepare for sales meeting by conducting appropriate sponsor/ property research and developing prep documents

  • Assist with the creation of sales materials, proposals, and presentations

  • Attend and participate in sales meetings, as appropriate

  • Work with staff to research new business opportunities

  • Assist in administrative tasks for sales accounts including organizing meetings, travel arrangements, and other special projects and acting as the sponsorship liaison for operations

  • Contribute to day-to-day office operations such as meeting prep, answering phones, mailings, ordering company supplies, etc.

  • Keep all office research, libraries and resources organized and updated

  • Various additional projects and other duties will also be assigned

Career Path Extension: This entry level role is a stepping stone to a higher-level Corporate Partnerships or Marketing Services role. The term of this position is based on the individual’s talent and progression within the Sales Assistant position. The last two administrative assistants have been promoted to a Corporate Partnerships position within two years.

Required Characteristics:

  • Overall, act as a key member of Premier’s Santa Monica team and become an essential piece in the growth and development of the office and assist in maintaining our position within the industry as a leader in sponsorship sales

  • Sets the highest possible standards and goals at all times

  • Aptitude for identifying and solving problems creatively

  • Ability to work well with others in a team environment and form strong relationships with colleagues, clients, agencies, teams, leagues and sports & entertainment organizations

  • A strong understanding of the sports and entertainment industry

  • Must maintain a positive attitude, professionalism, integrity, motivation and a strong work ethic


  • College graduate

  • 1 to 3 years of work & internship experience in sports management, sponsorship sales and activation, marketing or related field

  • Highly proficient computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint, as well as Adobe Photoshop

  • Experience with market research and analytical projects

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Self-motivated and ability to prioritize and manage work flow and efficiently multi-task on important projects

  • Proven ability to establish and maintain honest and effective working relationships

  • Spanish speaking and writing a plus

  • Willing to work long hours and travel if needed
